Update on Coronavirus and Hospital Protocols (3/16/20)

Here at Green Meadows Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to servicing our patients’ needs as well as those of our clients and staff during this health crisis. We are monitoring the CDC and Governmental suggestions and regulations and will adjust our protocols where needed as the situation evolves. We are taking precautionary measures to limit the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) here at the hospital. We have modified our cleaning and sanitation procedures to reflect CDC protocol updates. We are Handshake Free and encourage social distancing. We are encouraging clients and staff to stay at home if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms, including a fever greater that 100.4 degrees and a cough, or have been around someone with these symptoms in the past 14 days. Contact us with any questions or concerns, or to discuss postponing or rescheduling non-essential visits.

 Social distancing protocols:

* Handshake free!

* We are asking clients with scheduled appointments to give us a call when they arrive in the parking lot. We will direct you into an exam room when we have one available for your pet.

*After your pet’s exam, we will complete your visit transaction while you wait in the exam room, instead of directing you back to the lobby.

* Vet Tech appointments – You may be asked to wait outside in your car while we take the pet in to the Vet Techs.

* We are offering “curbside service”:

-You may pay for supplies over the phone and we can deliver them to your car.

-If you prefer not to enter the building, or you or a family member are not feeling well, we can bring your pet into the hospital while you wait in your vehicle.
